I’ve started a new tradition. This Christmas is the third that I import Japanese candy. It started when I ordered games from Play-Asia.com and found out that they also sell candy. So I’ve tried some of them. Bellow is pictures and links to this years Japanese candy.
When I started blogging, I used Blogger.com. That is a great place to start for new bloggers. But after some years, it started to be a bit limiting. I wanted to store some files, have better controll over what I upload etc. So I started looking for some alternative. I found WordPress which had everything I needed and I also got my own domain (from One.com) which I do recommand if you blog a lot. It gives you more freedom and there are a lot of cheap options out there.
Since I moved to my own domain in September 2008, WordPress have been updated many times already with bug fixes and new features. So this is great. The fine thing with WordPress is that it’s absolutely free to use, and if you don’t want to buy your own domain, you can sign up for an account at WordPress.com.
This week, WordPress was updated to version 2.7 codenamed Coltrane. The big change in 2.7 is the new interface. To make easy for myself, I quote two paragraphs from WordPress own blog:
Next you’ll begin to notice the new features subtly sprinkled through the new interface: the new dashboard that you can arrange with drag and drop to put the things most important to you on top, QuickPress, comment threading, paging, and the ability to reply to comments from your dashboard, the ability to install any plugin directly from WordPress.org with a single click, and sticky posts.
Digging in further you might notice that every screen is customizable. Let’s say you never care about author on your post listings — just click “Screen Options” and uncheck it and it’s instantly gone from the page. The same for any module on the dashboard or write screen. If your screen is narrow and the menu is taking up too much horizontal room, click the arrow to minimize it to be icon-only, and then go to the write page and drag and drop everything from the right column into the main one, so your posting area is full-screen. (For example I like hiding everything except categories, tags, and publish. I put categories and tags on the right, and publish under the post box.)
Sega announced earlier this week that they will release SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 early next year, 2009. It will contain over 40 Mega Drive games including Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2 and 3, Columns, Alien Storm, Ecco the Dolphin, Space Harrier, and cult classic, Streets of Rage 1, 2 and 3. There will also be bonus with some Master System and arcade games.
This will be a great collection of games, and I will get it when it comes out. I wonder how the impliment gamerscore with over 40 games.

Barack Obama is the new President of the United States of America. He is the first black person to enter the White House as a President. I think the American people made a good choice in electing the right person for President. The new Visepresident is Joe Biden. John McCain and Sarah Palin lost with a great margin.
It’s the time of the year that we can make a timetravel. On the night to Sunday October 26, 2008 Daylight saving time (aka Summer Time) is over in Europe, and we have to turn back time 1 hour.
The good thing about this is that we can sleep an hour longer on Sunday.
For more info on Daylight saving time, check Wikipedia.org.
