I follow Major Nelson (aka Larry Hryb) on Twitter. He wrote that he was shooting some videos for an upcoming Inside Xbox video where he was set on fire. The pictures look cool, and I guess the video will too which will air in a few weeks.
On his Flickr page he wrote that “I was trained by professionals and had licensed safety professionals standing by.” and “Do not try this at home!“.
Major Nelson announced today that Xbox Live players in Canada can play the Primetime – 1 vs. 100 beta from Friday May 8. There will be prizes, real prizes. You can actually win a lot of Microsoft Points. I do hope the game will be released Worldwide, and not only a North-American release like so many other Xbox Live goodies.
Xtival’09 is back. From May 1st to May 4th, all Xbox Live Silver member will get free Xbox Live Gold membership for three days. That is great. There will also competitions and tournaments. Happy gaming.
You can now buy Xbox Live Arcade titles from Amazon.com. When you purchase an Arcade game, you get a code which you then have to type into your Xbox 360 console or you can go to Xbox.com an redeem your code.

The Amazon.com Xbox LIVE Store works on a code-redemption system where customers who purchase an Xbox LIVE product will immediately be able to view their Xbox LIVE code after purchase as well as e-mail that code to themselves or the recipient of the gift.
