EA rip off!

This is not new at all. But I thought I had to speak my mind about the way EA games handle downloadable content on Xbox 360.

They are real bad. After going through the content list for Need For Speed: Carbon (which I own), I found out that all the downloadable content is 108 or 124 KB in size. Meaning one thing and one thing only. YOU DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANY CONTENT AT ALL. The only thing you download is a unlock-key to content that is allready on the gamedisc you bought in store. This would have been OK if you actually downloaded the cars, but you don’t!

I also checked PGR3 (which I also own). All the extra cars they (as in Microsoft) have for download is around 30 MB, meaning that you really download the cars you buy. They are not on the gamedisc like EA do.

On the markedplace at the moment, EA have downloadable content for Need For Speed: Carbon at a total sum of around 7500 points. This is equal to around US$100. This is money you spend on stuff that is already on the gamedisc which you bought for US$40. This would have been fine if you realy downloaded the extra cars.
