Daylight saving time 2008

It’s the time of the year when we actually can timetravel, sort of. In Europe (except Iceland) we will on the night to Sunday March 30, 2008, turn the clock (not back in time, but) one hour forward from 02:00 to 03:00 (that’s AM for you non 24-hour clock users). So we are entering Summertime, aka Daylight saving time (DST). So March 30 will only have 23 hours.

Daylight saving time in Europe last until the last Sunday in October. This year that’s October 26.

On the map above you can see countries that have Daylight saving time in blue. Orange have used DST, but doesn’t anymore. Red have never used DST.
