Virtual Console – Europe – Friday June 29th

Europe got two new Virtual Console games to download on their Wii’s.

Bloody Wolf
Turbografx – 1990 by G-mode – action/shooter – 1 player – 600 points

Go alone, deep into enemy territory to rescue the kidnapped President in this overhead-view action shooter. Take on the role of a commando in a Special Force team and face your enemies with and arsenal of weapons, including machine guns and grenades. Earn valuable information, weapons and items by rescuing POWs. Fight your way to the end of each stage and defeat the boss by effectively using your weapons and equipment.

This port of the insanely-popular arcade game feature refined graphics, story and cut-scenes, making this action game a must-have. This new and enchanced version includes the never-before-told sceond half if the story that was left out of the arcade version.

Kirby’s Dream Course
Super Nintendo – 1995 by Nintendo – sports/golf – 1-2 players – 800 points

Kirby’s Dream Course puts a new spin on the sport of golf, with Kirby as the ball and his enemies as obstacles! There are eight different courses to conquer, each containing eight levels pakced with obstacles like water, spikes, conveyor belts and trampolines.

In each level, take out all the enemies by rolling Kirby into them, and then head for the hole that appeares. You can adjust the angle of Kirby’s movement, add spin and power, and also copy the powers of enemies: such using a parasol to float, ice to freeze water and fire to burn bad wuys to a crisp!

As well as the challenging single-player mode, Kirby’s Dream Course also feature a two-player mode in which you can complete against a friend.
