iPhone 3G


Yesterday (Monday June 9, 2008) Steve Jobs, the CEO of Apple announced on the Worldwide Developers Conference keynote speach, the new iPhone: iPhone 3G. I never owned an iPod or the iPhone. iPhone was never released in Norway, so I haven’t actually given it that much thought. But I saw one a couple of days ago, and with new announcement yesterday, I’m very interrested in the new iPhone.

The new iPhone 3G will come in two versions, one 8GB version in black at $199 and one 16GB version in black or white at $299. The prices are for US, but Jobs said that it should cost about the same worldwide.

Oh yes, the iPhone with be out on July 11 this summer. The follwoing countries will get the phone on July 11: Australia, Austria, Belgium (French), Belgium (Dutch), Canada (English), Canada (French), Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland (French), Switzerland (German), UK, USA.

This countries will have the phone within the end of 2008: Argentina, Botswana, Brazil, Cameroon, C. African Republic, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Estonia, Guatemala, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Greece, Honduras, Hungary, India, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Jordan, Kenya, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Macau, Madagascar, Mali, Malta, Mauritius, Nicaragua, Niger, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Senegal, Singapore, Qatar, Slovakia, South Africa, Turkey, Uruguay.
