There are two new Virtual Console games to download on Wii in Europe this week, Friday February 6, 2009.

Clay Fighter
Mega Drive – 1994 by Interplay – fighting – 1-2 players – 800 points – age 12+

In this zany 2D fighter, it’s just another average day for a humble traveling circus troupe – until a meteor crash lands in their camp! This other-worldly orb, made entirely out of interstellar clay, contaminates all o the circus employees, turningĀ  them into bizarrely superpowered versions of themselves!

Choose from among the uniwue clay creatures such as Bonker, the cheerfully manic clown, or Blue Suede Goo, once a mild-mannered Elvis impersonator but now a violent vocalist. Master their “Clayalitilies” such as operatic Helga’s deadly high note and Bad Mr. Frosty’s fists of snowball fury!

Sonic Chaos
Sega Master System – 1993 by Sega – action/platformer – 1 player – 500 points – age 7+

Play as Sonic or tails in Sonic Chaos – the first 8-bit title to feature his loyal sidekick Tails as a playable character!

Dr. Eggman (aka Dr. Robotnik) has stolen the Red Chaos Emerald to create nuclear weapons. This has thrown the remaining Chaos Emeralds off balance, causing them to transport to a parallel universe. As a result, South Island – the heroic hedgehog’s home – is sinking into the water!

Speed thorugh various levels in your mission for the six Chaos Emeralds. Whizz and zoom around as Sonic or take the skies as Tails, to restore order in Sonic Chaos!
