Datel have released a new version of FreeLoader. The Wii FreeLoader will work on any Wii and will play imported Wii and GameCube games on Wii.

Wii FreeLoader is available from Divineo.co.uk.

Quote from Datel’s website:

Wii FreeLoader is really easy to use. Simply insert your FreeLoader disc and load it in the usual way. When the drive stops, eject the Wii FreeLoader disc and insert the game, which then loads and plays just like it would on its own region of Wii. It’s as simple as that!

Wii FreeLoader is 100% unofficial, but as it requires no modifications to your console, it does not invalidate the warranty. As well as letting you play Wii games from all regions, Wii FreeLoader also works with imported GameCube games when played on your Wii. It won’t work in a GameCube console, though – for that, you need Freeloader for GameCube, also available from Codejunkies…

[UPDATE] Here’s something worth noticing. This is printed on the FreeLoader disc: “FreeLoader for Wii works with all current versions of Wii firmware at the time of release. No guarantee can be given of compatibility with future firmware releases so if online updates are performed on your console this may prevent FreeLoader from functioning correctly.” (Source: MAXconsole.net)

[UPDATE] There is a Freeloader for each region, all three can be bought from Divineo.co.uk. Each version only cost £ 9.95.
